Hi all! I hope you guys are having a great Wednesday! Last night Matthew and I saw the new Jumanji and oh my gosh you guys it was hilarious! It was perfect for kids and adults. It had plenty of adult jokes sprinkled in here and there but they were subtle enough to go right over the little ones’ heads. I highly recommend seeing it!
This was the first (and so far only) thing I have bought from Shein. I read a lot of reviews for this dress before I bought it, which I highly recommend doing. Most of their clothes on the website are not expensive. This dress was only $19.00. The being said, you get what you pay for. So I didn’t expect this to arrive looking exactly like it did on the model. Some of the reviews including pictures of the customers wearing the dress and I thought it looked pretty darn close to the actual model so I bought it!
I love this dress. The number of complements I get when I wear it is crazy!! Everyone seems to think it’s cute! It is very comfortable and thick, perfect for winter or even for cooler days when you can simply wear sandals and a scarf (like I am in the pictures). It is the perfect length on me and nice material.
There are some things I don’t like about the dress too… Everything fits well except for the sleeves. They are too short and tight. I actually can’t get the stress off by myself, I always need Matthew to help me. My shoulders are just too broad for it. It is also incredibly low cut. I try my best to be modest and this dress throws modesty out the window when it comes to cleavage exposure. In fact, it’s more like half-of-your-boobs-hanging-out exposure. But I found out that this dress works very well with just about any scarf and it also looks cute with a tank top underneath.
Overall, I do not regret buying this dress. I definitely think it was worth the $19.00 I spent of it. I love wearing it and will shop at Shein again in the near future. 🙂
