I have been reorganizing my blog and I realized that I never did a post on my honeymoon!!
Matthew and I went to the Smokey Mountains. We spent a week there in Tennessee. Our log cabin was in Seviereville. It was called “Passions Peak” and was the most beautiful log cabin I have ever stayed in.
Outside of our cabin.

Bedroom was upstairs in the loft. It was facing a huge window and we could see the mountains as we were going to sleep.
Our last day at the cabin. 🙁
This was our view from the bed!! So beautiful!
The bathtub was in the loft too. It was out in the open so you could still look out that huge window and see the gorgeous view. The tub had jets and was so big!

The fireplace in the living room.
Goofy picture Matthew took of me.

There was a pool table in cabin too!
The swing on the outside porch.
We would eat breakfast out here some mornings. So peaceful.
Our cabin had a hot tube too!
We went on a couple dates. 🙂 Here are our outfits (nothing too fancy, but more than just a t shirt and shorts):
I was wearing a skirt with my shirt. Matthew loves his Hawaiian shirt!! We went to the yummiest place for breakfast, but I forget what it was called!
We went to a fancier restaurant for dinner. We got pretty dressed up for this one. 🙂
We went to the National Park almost every day we were on our honeymoon!
It was so neat seeing all of the wildlife there.
We took lots of waterfall pictures.
Matthew somehow spotted this turtle on the road while he was driving! We went back and took it off of the road so that it wouldn’t get run over.
This was the biggest waterfall we saw. So pretty!!!
We brought Abe with us on our trip!
We went to a few museums too. We went to the Titanic Museum, Ripley’s Aquarium, and Ripley’s Believe It or Not.
I think Matt’s favorite part of the trip was driving on The Tail of the Dragon. It is a very curvy road that is pretty famous. We accidentally stumbled upon it and Matthew was so happy!
318 curves in only 11 miles! I got very car sick… :/
It was a great honeymoon and I’m glad we didn’t spend a fortune on it. The National Park was gorgeous and so was the cabin!! We loved all of the museums we visited and overall had a blast together!
