DIY Bride Survival Kit…

I am super excited about this post because this was one of the DIYs that I was actually able to successfully do! One of my good friends is getting married in May and her bridal shower was earlier this month. I looked at her registry and it didn’t feel special enough to get her something off of that. Especially because Matthew and I are on a tight budget right now so we would only be able to get her one thing from her list.

“Here’s that single copper spatula you wanted! You’re welcome!”

I decided to get a little creative and went to Pinterest for some inspiration. That was when I found ideas for a “Bride Survival Kit”. Immediately I knew this was what I wanted to do. I could personalize it just for her. It’ll be filled with stuff that will come in handy and it will help relieve stress.

After looking at several lists on Pinterest, I compiled a list of my own and created a pamphlet in Canva:

I found all the products on this list at Meijer. Then I ordered a bag on Etsy that had her name and wedding date on it. Then I placed all of the items on this list into that bag. It was a very personal and budget friendly gift.

Possible other events you can do a gift like this for:

  1. After the Wedding (Wedding Night Survival Kit or Honeymoon Survival Kit)
  2. Baby Shower (New Mom Survival Kit)

If you want to do a similar pamphlet, please feel free to contact me via email or in the comments with any questions you may have!

With Love,

Quiet Girl

LOVE LOVE LOVED this gift! It was so creative and I’ve been using things out of it everyday! Plus I’m so excited to take the cute bag on my honeymoon with me! You’re the best!

I’m so glad you loved it!! I figured it’ll become very handy and I thought personalizing the bag was a cute touch! 😊
