4th of July Looks…

Wow, what a hot 4th of July we had here in Ohio!  Even though the heat was next to unbearable, I still had a great time celebrating our country’s independence with family.

On Saturday, June 30th, we watched the Centerburg fireworks with my in-laws.  It was a blast!  Centerburg had a festival that we visited first and then we enjoyed the colorful display in the sky later that night.

Then on July 4th, we went back to Centerburg to celebrate my mother-in-law’s birthday!!  How awesome is it to share the same birthday with the best country on earth?!  We cooked out, swam in their huge pond, and huddled under the easy up once the downpour started.  Then we were all shuttled up the the house in groups to avoid getting drenched.  There were 15 of us total: my husband’s parents, his four siblings, all the siblings significant others, and his older sister’s three children.  It was a full house!  We had a great time with them.  Around 5:30 pm we went to my mom’s neighborhood to watch fireworks.  It was a good day.

Overalls and cami are old.  I cut the back of the straps on my cami and tied them together so it looked like a halter top.  Necklace was from Playdough’s Closet.

Me, Matthew, and Grace at the Centerburg festival.  Isn’t Grace’s outfit the CUTEST??  Check out @daily_dose_of_grace on Instagram to see more!

About to go swimming in my husband’s parent’s pond.

I wore my red hat for a touch of red and I am so glad I did because that humid weather and rain caused my hair to frizz up like crazy!  Shirt and shoes are from Kohl’s.

I hope you all had a wonderful 4th!

With Love,

Quiet Girl
